    1. I am enjoying EDM301. I have learned so much already! There are so many things I want to do when I get my own classroom. I just hope I can remember it all. I am really enjoying the blog a lot more than I thought I would. I think it is such an excellent way for teachers to communicate and collaborate. Good luck to you too!

  2. Hi Cassie,
This week we are assigned to each other for C4C. I am very glad that we are because we really seem to have a lot in common. I watched your google presentation and am glad you explained the pronunciation of your name, I would have called you Cassie instead of Casey if we were to meet, although, I still may, lol. You are amazing with blogging, I am not in tune with technology like I would like to be, and your blog is creative, entertaining, and practically flawless in my opinion you could teach this class!
My family has been to Disney once and we would love to go back but each year we try to go somewhere new and each new place we visit makes it more difficult to choose the next place because we want to revisit the last place again. I would have to say our favorite place so far would be Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We visited The Smoky Mts National Park and it is truly breathtaking. Most of the areas you explore are literally in the clouds. How's that for being closer to God. It is awesome to be that high up and see a crow's nest view of the beautiful world God created for us, you can feel God's love even stronger from that elevation.
I joined your blog as a follower because I believe you are worthy of following, you seem to be interested in many of the same things as I am and I would like to get to know you better.

    1. Thanks Erica for the compliments! Blogging is extremely new to me, but I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I have always been intrigued by technology. It has always been fun for me. I’ve had a lot of exposure to technology. The SSI Group, where I worked for 11 years, is well advance in the world of technology, and I had the opportunity to support their software. In doing that, I had to learn a little programming and be able to do things “behind the scenes” of the software. I have always had the mentality of; I’m going to fix it or break it trying. Of course, if I did “break” it there was always someone there to teach me how to fix it. It is always nice having the support of someone with a little more knowledge than you. I truly believe we can all learn from others. It is just a matter of letting go of our pride.
I think it is amazing you guys try to visit different places. My husband and I have talked about doing the same. One thing, I would love to do is visit all the states! I have been to Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada. All were business trips, so I really did not get to site see and truly enjoy being there. I would love to go back and be able to enjoy the sites with my family. I want to make as many memories with my family, in as many different places as possible. We are leaving tomorrow for Disney and this will be our last trip for a while. Believe it or not, we talked about vacationing in Tennessee on our next trip. Josh wants to go white water rafting. I would love for you to share some Tennessee Tips with me! Nothing like learning from someone with experience!
      -Cassie
